Abstract
The purpose of the study was to find out physio-acoustic chair's (http://www.fysakos.fi/english/english.htm ) potentials for well-being of staff members who work in a care-unit.
Physical, mental, social and cultural aspects were considered. The study was a qualitative case study (N=5) measuring subjective well-being added with a quantitative part. Blood pressure measurements are used to demonstrate the evidence of the 9 weeks use.
The results are only indicative, but promote the use for staff's well-being.
